What is Marrow Washing Qigong...
The Taoist Practice of 'Marrow Washing Qigong' which we will teach in this program focuses on the opening and transformation of our Physical Body - we will stretch the muscles, tendon, and fascia tissues through graceful, natural movements. With regular practice we may experience the awakening and Smooth Circulation of our Qi Energy through the Meridian Channels - which will then nourish, revitalize, and rejuvenate our physical body.
Marrow Washing Qigong in the Chinese language is termed 'Xǐ Suǐ Jīng' --- Xǐ -洗 - means to wash; to cleanse; or to purify - Suǐ - 髓 - means the deep essence of a thing in its purest and most concentrated form; the fundamental aspect; literally the bone marrow - Jīng - 经 - a classic ; sacred book; or holy scripture. We should reflect on the traditional name of this practice and the intention of it's founders - a sacred practice to change, clean, purify and transform the deep and fundamental aspects of oneself. My Taoist Teacher simply said that the deeper meaning of 'Marrow Washing' is to Transform the Heart Nature through the Practice - Uncovering and Returning to our True Heart Nature - Returning to our Innate Nature. This is not mere imagination or fantasy - to reach the deeper and profound aspects of oneself, we must begin with the transformation and purification of the physical - and the Marrow Washing Qigong Practice serves as a wonderful vehicle and method to realize this goal.
We must also note that there are literally countless practice methods termed "Marrow Washing Qigong" - legend holds that this practice was created by Bodhidharma the First Patriarch of Zen Buddhism - in order to help the aspiring monks develop strong, healthy and vital bodies in order to be able to sit for long hours in meditation. There are other historians who view that the practice and theory of Marrow Washing Qigong was arranged by the Taoist Priest Zining of the Tiantai Mountains. Because of such a long history of legend and myth surrounding the practice of Marrow Washing Qigong, there are many different sets of exercises and different approaches to this training.
The various methods of Marrow Washing Qigong are practiced in so many different forms and styles - some are purely meditative, some use extensive mental visualisation, other methods are extremely vigorous and physically demanding. Our style of Marrow Washing Qigong is from the Taoist Quan Zhen School, and uses dynamic stretching, flowing circular movements, and coordinated breathing to open, stretch, transform and exercise the entire body in a highly intelligent manner.
We can not say that our Style of Marrow Washing Qigong is the original - but we can say with confidence that this system is extremely effective, authentic, and will bring a real, deep and lasting transformation to the body, help create a dynamic state of health, enhance vitality and bring a smooth circulation of Qi Energy to all parts of the body.

Your Guide & Teacher
During this course training, you will be taught and guided by Jesse Lee Parker. Jesse brings a wealth of experience to his lessons, having practiced the Taoist Arts since he was a young teenager, giving him well over 30 years of experience which he draws on in his insightful lessons. Lessons with Jesse are fun and open up a vast well of wisdom and insight into the Taoist Arts of Qigong, Neigong and Inner Alchemy.

I thought I had a pretty clear picture about what to expect from the Taoist Inner Alchemy Retreat in 2019, but I must say this experience gave me more then I ever could have hoped for or imagined.
Our Teacher Jesse carefully guided us, to face some of our inner sadness, stress or fear during the training, which many of us carry around in our daily life - yet we were guided to let it all transform naturally and blossom into the flower of inner peace.
I have tried many things in my life, but I can say with an honest heart, that this truly is an Authentic Healing Art which Jesse teaches.
It was not something magical or unreal..
It was something true and raw - a connection to my very being. I can only describe it with one word - Happiness.
To be clear, the Inner Alchemy Training Retreat did not cure all my troubles - but I was shown the way to the Medicine, and was given the tools i will need to get there.
