- Dantian Development- exploring the 4 Stages of building the Dantian Center - and the process of Cultivating the Vital Life force Energy.
- Taoist Breath Work - exploring the Basic Techniques and the Stages of Breath Cultivation - enhancing the process of Qi Cultivation and Internal Development.
- Dragon & Tiger Qigong - exploring the Seated / Moving Form - looking at the effects of Dantian Development, Qi Cultivation, and Longevity.
- TaoYin - exploring TaoYin Stretching for opening up the meridian system, lengthening the spine, strengthening the lower back, and enhancing the Vital Energy.
- Marrow Washing Qigong - we will look deeply at each of the 24 Exercises in this important and rare method of Foundation Training. Gaining a clear understanding of the relationship between physical transformation and opening up the Energetic Meridian System. We will also deeply explore the stillness practice of Standing Meditation - which serves to create balance and harmony with the dynamic moving forms. Standing Meditation serves a very important role in gathering, refining and storing the Vital Qi Energy which we develop and circulate within the moving forms.
- Pakua Neigong - we will focus to learn Essential Methods of Pakua Neigong stretching and lengthening methods - we will use these methods as our warm ups before the Marrow Washing Qigong. The Pakua Neigong we will learn is designed to fundamentally change the soft tissues of the body, transform the skeletal system, strengthen the internal organs, and open the space which exists in the joints - preparing the body for the practice of Marrow Washing Qigong.
This will truly be an amazing training series - members may simply take part in this course for self development and personal learning - or also seek to gain certification in the Immortal Arts Qigong System and begin the path as a teacher and mentor in your community.

Journey into the Heart of Taoist Practice

*Marrow Washing Qigong*
In this training we will learn and explore the Complete Form of Marrow Washing Qigong - learning all 24 forms. Members will gnain a clear understanding of the relationship between physical transformation of the fascia system and the opening of the Energetic Meridian System. We will also deeply explore the stillness practice of Standing Meditation - which serves to create balance and harmony with the dynamic moving forms of the Marrow Washing Qigong. We will learn to gather, refine and store the Vital Qi Energy which we develop, deploy and circulate within the Moving Forms. During our learning we will explore Pakua Neigong as our warm up exercises - deeply opening the joints, lengthening the muscles and transforming the tendons - truly a wealth of learning.
*Taoist Breath Work*
Explore the Basic Techniques and the 5 Stages of Breath Cultivation - learning Taoist Breath Work will enhance the process of Qi Cultivation and Internal Development - which will give one profound physical benefits such as nervous system regulation, enhancing the function of the endocrine system, and engender a profound state of longevity. Understanding how to practice proper Breath Work is fundamental to real Qi Cultivation and developing the Dantian Center. During our practice of Breathwork we will also dive deep into the fine details and theory of the Dragon & Tiger Qigong.
*TaoYin - Taoist Yoga*
We will focus to learn Five Essential Methods of Seated TaoYin Meridian Stretching in this course training. TaoYin can be thought of as Ancient Qigong and is not so commonly seen in the public. These seated TaoYin methods are designed to fundamentally change the soft tissues of the body, transform the skeletal system and strengthen the internal organs - which creates a foundation for Inner Alchemy Meditation - by opening the meridians of the body and returning one to a holistic state of health. Seated TaoYin is from the Taoist Tradition and is also often termed as 'Taoist Yoga' - a wonderful method to help prepare the physical and energetic systems for the dynamic movements of the Marrow Washing Qigong.

Graduates of this Program will receive three unique certificates with our Immortal Arts International Association - after passing the required exam, and submitting a video demonstration of the Marrow Washing Qigong form. This is our Official Instructors Certificate for Taoist Qigong - Level - 1. Members will receive this certificate upon submission of the written exam, documented practice hours, and video demonstration of the required Qigong forms.

This is the certificate which shows you completed all of the required classroom hours, and practice hours during the course training. Every member will receive this certificate after completing the course program.

Inner Alchemy ☯︎ 內丹術
The Taoist Tradition of 'Inner Alchemy' focuses on the cultivation and transformation of our Inner Energy - which supports the birth of our Spiritual Nature.
Inner Alchemy in the Chinese language is termed 'Neidan" - Nei -內 - means Inner or Internal and Dan - 丹 - is a reference to the Alchemical Elixir of Immortality. In English we can term this as Inner Alchemy Practice or the Art and Practice of the Inner Elixir.
Taoist Inner Alchemy is concerned with transforming the substance of the Inner Energy of the human being into a refined, rarified, and Pure Quality - something which is True, Spiritual and Bright. This transformed energy, gathered to the Dantian is often termed the 'Elixir'. This Transformation of the Inner Energy and Development of the Elixir, will give one Health, Healing, Longevity, Wisdom, and bring one closer to Nature and the Great Tao.
These Traditional Methods of Taoist Practice were passed on to us during our Training and Apprenticeship under Three Taoist Masters in China during the years of 2002 - 2009. During our online training together, we will share what we have learned in an open and honest manner - bringing these hidden, esoteric teachings into the clear light - enabling the student to enjoy the learning process in a fun and open environment. Our focus and aim within the Immortal Arts Academy is to build community, pass on Authentic Taoist Training and train in Traditional Practice Methods. Practicing together and sharing the journey of learning Taoist Inner Alchemy and Qigong helps to give inspiration, and encouragement to stay on the path and progress in gaining Inner Development. Xǐ Suǐ Jīng - 洗髓經 - Marrow Washing Classic
Taoist Marrow Washing Qigong Practice is a direct way to access and gain a profound state of health, vitality, and balance through a systematic, organised and intelligent approach to training using Natural Body Movement, Focused Concentration and Breath Work.
Marrow Washing Qigong in the Chinese language is termed 'Xǐ Suǐ Jīng' --- Xǐ -洗 - means to wash; to cleanse; or to purify - Suǐ - 髓 - means the deep essence of a thing in its purest and most concentrated form; the fundamental aspect; literally the bone marrow - Jīng - 经 - a classic ; sacred book; or holy scripture. We should reflect on the traditional name of this practice and the intention of it's founders - a sacred practice to change, clean, purify and transform the deep and fundamental aspects of oneself.
We must also note that there are literally countless practice methods termed "Marrow Washing Qigong" - legend holds that this practice was created by Bodhidharma the First Patriarch of Zen Buddhism - in order to help the aspiring monks develop strong, healthy and vital bodies in order to be able to sit for long hours in meditation. There are other historians who view that the practice and theory of Marrow Washing Qigong was arranged by the Taoist Priest Zining of the Tiantai Mountains. Because of such a long history of legend and myth surrounding the practice of Marrow Washing Qigong, there are many different sets of exercises and different approaches to this training. Some approaches to Marrow Washing Qigong focus on Seated Meditation, while others use active movement training, and various postures. The Marrow Washing Qigong that we teach here can be seen as an important type of Foundation Training - a complete system of exercise, stretching, mobility training, and physical transformation - with the aim to prepare the student's mind and body for more advanced methods of Seated Inner Alchemy Meditation.

Taoist Marrow Washing Qigong teaches us unique Natural Movement Patterns that will open up, empower and revitalise our Physical Body as well as Awaken the Energetic Meridian System - leading us to greater states of Health, Happiness, Longevity and Vitality.
Marrow Washing Qigong represents an essential method from the Taoist School to gain Physical Transformation, Energetic Cultivation, Inner Strength and Vital Health.
Marrow Washing Qigong is seen as an important Foundation Training Method which seeks to transform the physical body, build vital health, open the Meridian System, and Train the Mind Concentration to prepare for Higher Stages of Taoist Inner Alchemy Meditation Training and Subtle Energy Cultivation.
In our personal development, we trained in the Marrow Washing Qigong for over 15 years before learning Taoist Inner Alchemy in the mountains of China. We feel from our own Personal Experience that the Marrow Washing Qigong Practice is an excellent way to gain important Basic Foundation Skills which will serve as attributes which allow one to progress smoothly in learning the refined methods of Seated Taoist Inner Alchemy Practice.

Jesse's knowledge and experience both from his time in China studying Taoist Practice and from his personal healing journey are incredibly profound.
