Sep 07, 2021

Yin Yang is the Way of Heaven & Earth..

The Fundamental Principle of All Things...

The Father & Mother of all Change and Transformation...

The root of Birth & Death...

~Huangdi Neijing - Su Wen

Learning the application of the Law of Yin and Yang Energy Transformation is a deep secret and key to understanding the practice of Taoist Qigong and Inner Alchemy Meditation.

We may think that within our human body the general principle of the harmony of Yin and Yang Energy, is that Yang Energy should be kept strong and dense so that the Yin Energy can remain in a calm, peaceful and gentle state. Yin and Yang as a theory expresses itself in all aspects of life, form, transformation and change.

Yin produces form / Yang produces energy.

Yin grows / Yang generates.

Yin is matter / Yang is energy.

Yin descends / Yang rises.

Yin is the structure / Yang is the function.

Yin is the body, blood and body fluids / Yang is the 'Qi' Energy.

Yin is the right side /...

Jul 01, 2021

Learn the backward step
that turns your light inward
to illuminate your self. .

Body and mind of themselves
will drop away,
and your Original Face will be manifest.

Coming, going, the waterbirds
don't leave a trace,
don't follow a path.

Zi-Ran - the Tao of Nature

Jul 01, 2021

Human Kind follow the Way of Earth;
the Earth follows the Way of the Heavens;
the Heavens follow the Great Way of Tao.
Tao follows the Way of Nature....
- Lao Tzu

Zi-Ran – ( 自然 ) - is a key concept in Taoism that literally can mean "naturally; natural; spontaneously; freely; also it is used to refer to 'Nature' , and something which exists freely of itself. Zi-Ran is what is 'Natural' and the 'Natural World'. Ziran also has the nuance, to refer to and point to one's 'True Nature' or 'True Self’.

Zi-Ran – ( 自然 ) - is perhaps one of the oldest philosophical views from the Taoist School. Lao Tzu introduced the concept of Zi-Ran throughout many chapters in his work the 'Tao Te Ching' and it points in one way to something which exists that is opposite to all the things of the world which are artificial and man made....

Tai Chi - the Grand Ultimate

Jun 30, 2021

The Tai Chi comes from the Unbounded Infinity, the Primordial Union, the Wuji,
thus it is the source and mother of Yin and Yang.

If it moves, it separates;
if it is static, it combines....

All movements should be directed by conscious intention, and not by external force.
When moving up or down, front or back, left or right, the same intention is unbroken and united as One.

First the mind then the body —- when the abdomen is completely relaxed, the Qi Energy can rise in the body spontaneously; then the Qi Energy can penetrate into the bones.

When your spirit and body are at ease you can always move as your intention directs....

The mind should direct the Qi Energy to move. The Qi should be completely composed. Then the Qi Energy will penetrate to the bones.

The Qi Energy circulating freely, mobilises the body. If Qi Energy is correctly cultivated, one’s Vital Spirit will be raised...

Consider That Which is Insignificant

May 29, 2021

That which is still and at rest is easily kept quiet...

That which has not yet appeared is easily prevented.
What is still feeble and weak is easily broken.
What is still deficient is easily dispersed.

Treat things before they exist.
Regulate things before disorder begins.
The strong tree originated from a tiny root.
A tower of nine stories is built up brick by brick.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single footstep.

If one tries to improve a thing, one damages it;
if one grasps it, they lose it.

The wise one, therefore, not attempting to form things does not damage them, and not grasping after things, they do not lose them.

The people in their rush for completing a task are ever approaching success,
but continually failing.

One must be as careful in the end as in the beginning if they are to succeed.
Therefore the wise one desires to be free from desire,
they do not value the things that are difficult to attain.

Empty yourself of Everything.....

Let the Mind rest at Peace.
Returning to the source is Stillness,
Which is the way of Nature.
~Lao Tzu

Internal Harmony = Smooth Energy Flow -
Gaining a flow of Smooth Energy, we may experience vital health and happiness:

The main focus in the practice of Taoist Qigong is the development and balance of ‘Qi’ Energy. Qi Energy can be viewed as ‘Universal Life Force’, and is the underlying essence of all life, development and creation.

When our Qi Energy is in balance, we experience more health, vitality, enhanced focus, greater memory, happiness and internal harmony.  When our Qi Energy is out of balance, we may experience fatigue, chronic pain, lowered immune response, irritability, and so on.....

Leanring to work with your Qi Energy and bring your body's systems into balance is perhaps one of the greatest gifts you could give yourself in life.

Coiling Dragon Form - Taoist Yoga & Qigong

May 05, 2019

The Dragon is an image we find in many forms of Taoist Yoga, Qigong, Nei Gong, Tao Yin and the Martial Arts. The Dragon in Taoist Culture is a Mystical Pure Yang Animal - one that is Heavenly, Spiritual and Auspicious. The Coiling Dragon form seen here is one section taken from our Golden Lotus form training in the TaoYoga Arts System.

The Dragons motion is typically expressed in Taoist Yoga & Qigong Practice as having the qualities of : Coiling / Spiraling -- Open / Close -- Up / Down -- In / Out... these patterns of movement are both internal and external - expressions of the Yin Yang theory, not as a concept, but as a tangible somatic experience.

Our Coiling Dragon Form shown here  in the above video can be seen to effect the Yin Energy Meridians in the legs, arms and also works to open the ascending Governing Vessel in the spine, and also the descending Conception Vessel in the front of the torso. The Opening of the Energy Meridian and creating a smooth,...
